He began his career in the film industry with the movie AlluduSreenu Telugu opposite Samantha Prabhu in 2014. This movie got positive reviews and was liked by the audience. He also won Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut for this superhit movie.
After then, he played the lead role in the movie Speedunnodu opposite SonarikaBhadoria. This film was released in 2016. Next year in 2017, he performed another amazing role in the film Jaya Janaki Nayaka opposite Rakul Preet Singh and Pragya Jaiswal.
He did his fourth film Saakshyam which was released on 27th July 2018. This movie got the biggest success in the cinemas but after the second week of release, they face a commercial failure.
